Survey on Morin-Heights’ Emblematic Bird

Birds are an indicator of the health of our biodiversity and of the quality of our ecosystem. As development continues, we find more bird enthusiasts and feeders, but all species need the preservation of forests and undergrowth – after all, it is their habitat and home.

The selected emblematic bird will become an environmental symbol of the Municipality!

Objectives:

  • Promote resilience despite the challenges due to climate change and developments
  • Remember the importance of conservation, including that of birds

Please take the time to read the description of each bird candidate to decide which one best represents our community, and then cast your vote in the survey available on the citizen portal through June 30!

(This project is an initiative of a subcommittee of the Environmental Advisory Committee- EAC)
