For its 2026 production of Shakespeare-in-the-Park, Repercussion Theatre presents an Afrofuturistic take on “The Winter’s Tale,” modelling bravery, boldness, and grace in the face of tyranny, as the hopeful rebellion of young lovers upends the bloody reign of a jealous king.

Vague de cirque
Inside a sphere inspired by a balloon, six performers celebrate the spirit of play and collective movement. Between leaps, catches, and contortions within this unique structure, their acrobatics embody trust, camaraderie, and the joy of playing together. At a time when the art of playing with lightness and imagination is fading, EN JEU invites us to rediscover play as a breath of fresh air, a space of freedom where anything becomes possible again.
Free outdoor performance presented by the Municipality of Morin-Heights at Basler Park on Saturday, August 22, at 16:00; in case of rain, rescheduled for Thursday, August 27, at 19:00.

The Municipality of Morin-Heights is proud to present DOBA at Lummis Park!
Passionate about life and deeply connected to nature, Doriane Fabreg, aka Doba, pours her heart and soul into music. Her journey is unconventional and entirely self-taught. Music lives within her, and the streets became both her classroom and her livelihood throughout her many travels, helping her forge her unique voice.
As co-founder of the band Dobacaracol, she toured the world with the group, whose percussion-infused, culturally blended songs led to more than 450 concerts across 17 countries and the achievement of a Gold Record.
Since then, sensitivity and instinct have guided her warm, deep voice as she continues to evolve in complete artistic freedom. Her influences know no bounds, drawing from soul, blues, jazz, folk, pop, and world music. Whether performing beloved covers or original compositions, she sings what moves her, and both the stage and the campfire have become her home.
In Lummis Park on August 30, at 15:00. Feel free to bring your chair or blanket to settle in comfortably. Free for residents of Morin-Heights and children 17 and under; a $5 park admission fee applies to non-residents. In case of rain, the show will be moved to the Chalet Bellevue (27 Bellevue Street).
