TMH’s "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - A Radio Play Within A Play"

Come along for the ride...It’s Halloween 1960, as a troupe of radio actors perform their company’s last-ever radio play after more than two decades on the air: an adaptation of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

Torn between the network’s request for a family-friendly comedic adaptation and their own need for one last artistic triumph, some of them veer off the approved script. Doing so, they come to learn that Washington Irving didn’t invent the ghosts of Sleepy Hollow and that Ichabod Crane might not be The Headless Horseman’s only intended victim.

The storyline not only explores the Sleepy Hollow legend, but digs into the demise of a radio station specializing in “quality entertainment” to become one featuring an all-news format.

Theatre Morin Heights presents six performances April 29 to May 3: 4 evening shows / 2 matinees

Bistro Seating / Cash Bar / Tickets $25

Information: theatremorinheights.ca

Tickets: click here to buy tickets or get them directly at Chalet Bellevue or call 450 226-3232, ext. 132 to get assistance.
