Sarah Pagé in concert - Music from Japan

The Municipality of Morin-Heights, in collaboration with Superfolk Morin-Heights, invites you to an outdoor concert of classical and contemporary Japanese music.

Montreal harpist and composer Sarah Pagé has been studying the koto (Japanese harp) since 2017. Her unique approach to improvisation and composition with the instrument will blend with that of Jonah Fortune, a multi-instrumentalist from British Columbia who will introduce you to the shakuhachi (bamboo flute). The duo will present a range of pieces representing the music of their respective cultural heritages, from the Edo period to the present day.

At Lummis Park, September 14 at 15:00.
Feel free to bring your chair or blanket to settle in comfortably. Access is free to MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut residents and children 17 and under, and there is a $5 access fee for non-residents.

In case of rain, the show will be moved to the United Church of Morin-Heights (831 chemin du Village).
