A new five-and-a-half-year collective agreement was signed on February 18 with the union representing employees of the Recreation, Culture, and Community Life Department.

This agreement between the Municipality and CUPE Local 5535 is the result of negotiations that spanned more than two and a half years. The new collective agreement will clarify the working conditions of employees in this department and consolidate the quality of services offered to the public.
