Gathering Around the Medecine Wheel

Three First Nations artists (Éliane Kistabish, Anicinape from Pikogan, Don Barnaby, Mi’kmaq from Listuguj, and Valérie Ivy Hamelin, Mi’kmaq from Gespeg), accompanied by Senegalese griot Sadio Sissokho on the kora, invite you to experience a unique immersion in the heart of Indigenous cultures. Together, you will gather around the Medicine Wheel to share songs, drum, music, teachings, oral tradition, crafts, and a powwow dance demonstration.

Two opportunities are offered for you to enjoy this experience:

• On Saturday, March 28, afternoon session, from 13:00 to 15:00, at Chalet Bellevue, in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.

• On Saturday, March 28, evening session, at Domaine Castel Marie Park, for an intimate performance in the comfort of a chalet (16 y.o.+), from 19:30 to 21:00 (doors open at 19:00).

Free! An invitation to discover, listen to, and celebrate the richness of Indigenous traditions.

Registration is required (click here) or by contacting chaletbellevue@morinheights.com or 450 226-3232, ext. 132.
