Dive into the world of Hard Bop with the R.C. Jazz Ensemble! Under the direction of Raoul Cyr, the R.C. Jazz Ensemble takes you on a journey through a defining era of jazz: Hard Bop, an energetic and “groovy” style born from the fusion of bop, gospel, and blues.

To recreate this unique atmosphere, Raoul Cyr is joined by seasoned musicians: Alain Boyer (drums), Michel Dubeau (tenor and baritone sax), Richard Leduc (alto and tenor sax), Daniel Loyer (piano), and Michel Viau (double bass). Together, they perform iconic pieces that shaped jazz history, such as Moanin’, Song For My Father, Killer Joe, Nica’s Dream… and many more! Let yourself be swept away by this vibrant repertoire that will delight both jazz enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
