"Les Pitons épistolaires" in concert
Les Pitons épistolaires, formed by Claude Hurtubise, pianist, accordionist and singer from our province, and Régis Huiban, accordionist from Brittany, emerged from the idea of transcending the ocean, with their music rising above them.
Each on their own “rock”, the duo creates musical pieces and then exchanges them to end up with collective compositions.
Claude brings her jazz touch to the harmony, her poetry and the influences she has picked up on her travels. Régis shares his sensitivity, rhythmic side and accordion technique, navigating between traditional Breton music and jazz.
Through their correspondence, Les Pitons épistolaires offer their vision of the world, in a symphony of emotions.
A four-handed partition and arms stretched over 5,000 km give birth to a vibrant music, woven with the creative energy born of a new friendship!
Feel free to bring your chair or blanket to settle in comfortably. Access is free to MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut residents and children 17 and under, and there is a $5 access fee for non-residents.
The show will be moved to Chalet Bellevue in case of rain.
