Halloween Fun Trail: "Sentiers ludiques"

Halloween Fun Trail : How to become a fantastic creature? (on the Aerobic Corridor, 50 chemin du Lac-Écho)

From October 1st to 31st, come and enjoy the fresh air and live an hour of guaranteed fun in a parallel world, which transports you into a Halloween theme. A Fun Trail is installed for the occasion on a section of the Aerobic Corridor in Morin-Heights.
Guided by a web application, the Fun Trail offers mini-games with enigmas under the Halloween theme "How to become a fantastic creature".

To do so, go to the Aerobic Corridor Welcome Pavilion at 50 Lac-Echo Road. A first game poster is installed on the wooden board at the entrance of the pavilion. You will need your smartphone to scan the QR code, using the camera, to download the web application (internet data required).

The tour can be done by bike or on foot. Please note that a small section is considered a beginner’s mountain bike trail.

The sanitary measures in effect are applicable.

Council Sitting

Municipal democracy manifests itself during Council meetings. The elected officials meet as a council representing the population, and as its representative, they make decisions on the direction and action priorities of the town.

The ordinary sessions of the Council typically take place the second Wednesday of each month (see calendar for exceptions), at 7:30 p.m. at the Chalet Bellevue which is located at 27, rue Bellevue. See Council meetings Calendar below for dates.

Special meetings can be called at any time to deal with the urgent matters stated in the convocation notice. No other subjects can be discussed, except if all the Council members are present and only with their unanimous consent.

Council meetings are public and a questions period is reserved at the end of each session for those present.

The Councillors are using lap tops to reduce the use of paper during sessions.

Halloween 2021

The Municipality of Morin-Heights invites you to come and celebrate Halloween on Sunday, October 31, from 16:00 to 19:00.

The Aerobic Corridor will be decorated and animated for the occasion. Wizards and witches will be there to welcome you and accompany you along the way! Don’t worry, inside each wizard and witch is a child’s heart ready to give you the most beautiful smile and delicious candies!

Village Road will also be closed, and merchants are invited to decorate their businesses to welcome the trick-or-treaters in complete security. A few friendly witches will also be in front of the library to fill bags and buckets with candy.

Take advantage of this last weekend to experience our Halloween Fun Trail.

- Closure of Village Road (Route 329) -
Village Road (Route 329) will be closed between Route 364 and Watchorn Road from 16:00 to 19:00 to ensure the safety of the trick-or-treaters.
The proposed detour is via Watchorn Road between Route 364 and Village Road (Route 329).

- Sanitary Measures -
As the pandemic situation is still present, some sanitary measures will be put in place for this special day:

-  Wearing a mask is recommended. Use your imagination and decorate your child’s mask and your own!

-  The physical distance must be respected. 1 meter with mask, 2 meters without a mask.
