The Town’s Clerk Office and Communications Department ensures the proper administration of the Municipality’s legal and administrative processes while providing clear and accessible information to the public. It supports Municipal Council and the various municipal departments in the areas of clerk’s services, legal affairs, access to information, and public communications.
The Clerk’s Office and Communications Department is responsible, among other things, for:

- preparing and coordinating Council meetings;
- drafting by-laws, resolutions, and other official documents;
- publishing public notices;
- processing access to information requests;
- protecting personal information;
- maintaining municipal archives;
- managing tendering and procurement processes;
- organizing municipal elections;
- providing legal support to municipal departments.
Communications
- developing and implementing the Municipality’s communications strategy;
- managing the municipal website;
- managing the Municipality’s social media platforms;
- producing newsletters, bulletins, and other official communications;
- maintaining relations with the media;
- coordinating communications during emergencies;
- supporting municipal departments with their communication needs;
- ensuring consistency of the Municipality’s brand image and visual identity;
- supporting public information, consultation, and citizen engagement initiatives;
- coordinating communications with municipal partners.
