Following an initial online public consultation asking residents to suggest French designations for Morin-Heights residents, and a second consultation presenting the three most popular options, after analysis by the municipal council and finally by the “Commission de toponymie du Québec”, we are pleased to inform you that the chosen name is Haut-Morinois, Haut-Morinoise!

It is important to note that the English name, Morinheighter, will remain and that we will proudly bear these two denominations.
