Stay Safe Course

Stay Safe Course!

This class offers basic first aid and safety skills for youth 9-13 years old. Participants learn about being safe when they are without the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult, both at home and in their communities.

They will learn the importance of responsibility and respect while being accountable for themselves, as well as the importance of setting and following safety rules when on their own. They will learn how to prepare for, recognize and respond to unexpected situations (e.g., inclement weather, strangers, and unanticipated visits).

The bilingual course is offered at $60 per child, including a workbook and a completion certificate upon the successful completion of the course.

On Sunday, November 11th, from 9:00 to 15:30 at Chalet Bellevue, 27, rue Bellevue. Bring a lunch and snacks.

Registration at the Chalet Bellevue at the latest on November 1st: 450 226-3232, ext. 132.

For more information on the content of the course, you may contact the instructor: Kim Maurice at 514 916-9904.

Shakespeare-in-the-Park’s Romeo & Juliet

Come celebrate Repercussion Theatre’s 30th season of Shakespeare-in-the-Park with a contemporary, gender-bent take on a classic love story: Romeo & Juliet: Love is Love at Basler Park (99, Lac-Écho Road) on Saturday, August 4th at 19:00.

In this tragic tale of young love and old grudges, we enter a world calcified by hate. As two young people gallop full speed towards love, they are broken by, and ultimately break down, the walls erected by the previous generation. With a cast of ten dynamic performers, eye-catching design, and live music, this show is not to be missed.

The only representation in the region! This English activity is free. Bring chairs and blankets.

In case of rain, the play will be presented at Chalet Bellevue, under a big tent.

Information : 450 226-3232, ext. 132 or visit Repercussion Theatre’s website.

Québec hospitals depend on the generosity of donors for their blood supply. These donors are individuals who are concerned about sharing the great wealth that circulates in their veins. Only 3% of the population of our province who are eligible to donate blood actually give this gift of life. For any question concerning admissibility for a blood donation, please call: 1-888-666-HEMA or visit www.hema-quebec.qc.ca.
