The Morin-Heights Legion was packed with 230 diners who flocked to the legion on July 28, for ’Barney’s Famous’ roast beef dinner.

Cooking nearly 500-pounds of Grade A angus beef over a slow-cooking spit, Wayne ’Barney’ Barnes spent about 12 hours preparing the meat, which was quickly devoured by the sold-out crowd.

Proceeds raised by the event will help the legion to repair its roof and complete repairs to the kitchen.
